I'm a retired teacher in MA.  My hobbies include reading, trravelling, and crafts.  Most recently my crafting is in card-making.  But I'll try anything once!  I am also an avid recipe and kitchen gadget collector!

I have 2 cats, after having 5 for many years.  Teddy BB is 4 and CiCi is about  8.  Teddy lost both his father Ziggy and his grandfather Nanook, along with his playmate Cinnamon who was only 5, in Aug of '06.   I miss them greatly, as does Teddy.

I have travelled a good deal, including driving a Honda Civic pulling a pop-up trailer cross-country with my 5 yo and 3 yo granddaughters.  I am now the great-grandmother of Joshua, age 12 in '06.

Out of country travel has taken me to Russia, England, Austria, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Poland (for 1 month of study), Roatan(Honduras) and Costa Rica.

I have lived in Phoenix, Long Beach, and Boston.  Now living in my home town in MA, made famous by Herman Melville in Moby Dick.

As of Oct '07 I'm back in Boston.  Specifically , Jamaica Plain!
